Braxton Keith and His Bride Encouraged Guests To Dress in "Fall Colors"

As PEOPLE reports, the ceremony took place at Chateau Nouvelle in Houston on Oct. 7. Keith said the French-inspired venue "brought a little European flair to Texas" and "honestly felt like a mix of both of us."

The couple asked guests, who flew in from the United States, Europe, and Australia, to wear "fall colors." Keith did the same, dressed in a deep red custom tuxedo. The event also featured amber, gold, and white. Taylor, who planned the wedding, even arranged the red-and-white flowers herself.

"I've dreamed of getting married since I was a little girl, so I enjoyed every moment of it," she said.

The bride walked down the aisle in a Martina Liana gown as Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" played. The couple also used both traditional and handwritten vows. Their pastor, Bobby Duncan, married them.

"We often write each other love letters, so writing personal vows was a no-brainer," says Keith.

The rings were custom-designed from TraxNYC and Rare Carat.

"My wedding band has a unique diamond for each of us," said Keith. "On my ring, I got a yellow marquise to represent Olivia because yellow is her favorite color, and the engagement ring I bought her is a marquise. I also left space on the top of the ring to add a diamond for each child we have."

What About the Reception?

Music played a big role in the wedding. A trio of strings played at the ceremony while a duo played the sax and trumpet during cocktail hour. As Taylor hails from the United Kingdom, an English DJ spun records at the reception. An unreleased song Keith wrote about Taylor played during the couple's first dance.

Cocktail hour featured quick bites and lawn games. A five-tiered wedding cake was served, with red velvet and vanilla buttercream, triple lemon, or chocolate caramel covered in white buttercream.

The couple is already looking ahead to the future.

"I cannot wait to have as many babies as God gives us," Taylor said. "I hope one day when we're old and gray, we're sitting in rocking chairs and watching generations of our love unfold."
