Ashley McBryde is preparing to release new music, and she couldn't be more excited. On Instagram, the 42-year-old singer posted a sweet video of her listening to unreleased tunes. She used the caption, "This is literally a video I sent to my team after hearing this #newmusic. Stay Tuned!"

In the clip, McBryde looks emotional and teary-eyed. She bleeps out the name of the song that's got her so in her feels, but the message gets across. "I just listened to ***** for the first time. It's a rough mix, it's not even mixed," she continues.
"And I had just listened to 'Hand Me Downs' and I wrote the damn thing," she said, referring to another unreleased track she's been promoting. "Me and Jessie Jo (Dillon) and Laura knew what was in that song. And then I listened to it, and I kept staring at the dash like, 'Why would you do that to me?' I've been here for every note, every syllable, every breath of this record, and I'm listening to the mixes, and it's like I've never heard this record. It's like I've never heard this artist."
Ashley McBryde is gearing up to release her fifth studio album, to which she hasn't yet attached a name. The project is expected to arrive sometime in 2026.
Ashley McBryde on Sobriety and Redemption Bar
Ashley McBryde decided to choose sobriety in 2022 and has been incredibly vocal when it comes to her journey. Reflecting on two years of being sober, she told CBS, "Several times I have said, my God, if you'd told me how good things get, pretty quickly, I would've stopped drinking a long time ago. I had no idea that I was this far in my way." Ashley embarked on sobriety in a quieter way, not making a public announcement until she was one year sober.
In August of 2025, McBryde opened her Redemption Bar in Nashville, Tennessee, which offers "zero proof" cocktail options for non-drinkers. McBryde explained in an interview with Rolling Stone how she was inspired by the lack of accommodation for people who want to go out and have a good time, but don't want to drink.
"As someone who is three years sober, the typical response to 'do you have anything Non-Alcoholic?' is either 'why did you come to a bar if you aren't gonna drink?' or 'you can have soda water and a lime, I guess', she shared. "It was vital that I create a space where not drinking is the forethought—normalized."
She continued, "Redemption is a great place to start a conversation. A spot with incredible drinks of all kinds that are as well crafted and thought out as the songs you're hearing from the vagabonds, drifters, and dreamers that make this music city, Music City."
