Country singer Jake Worthington has announced his return to the stage after taking a nearly two-month break to focus on his mental health.

The 30-year-old shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post. He thanked those who supported him during his time away and confirmed that he is ready to resume touring.
"Hey yall, just want to thank yall for the opportunity and time given, along with all the love and support," he wrote.
"To my family, friends, fans and work peers thank you. We're hitting the pavement, Sure Footed."

Worthington's announcement comes after he revealed on May 22 that he was stepping away from performing. This was in order to prioritize his well-being and spend time with his family.
"I have a life as my heroes did, but that life gotten a hold of me," he said. "I love my family my friends and my fans too much to let it take over me, I need to take some time to work on myself for my wife and daughter, I promise I will come back even better.
"God bless country music."
Worthington is now set to return to the road on July 30 at Summit Arena at The Monument in Rapid City, South Dakota. He will support Luke Bryan.
Through the end of October, he is scheduled to perform alongside artists including Repeat Offender, Brad Paisley, Gavin Adcock, HARDY, and Bailey Zimmerman.
He also has a show booked for December at The Backyard Bar Stage & Grille in Waco, Texas.
From 'The Voice' to Country Music Success
Worthington first rose to national attention as the runner-up on Season 6 of The Voice in 2014.
Following the show, he attracted interest from several managers and launched his professional career in country music.
He released his self-titled debut album in 2023. He followed it up with When I Write the Song in September 2025.
Away from the stage, Worthington married his wife, Sophie, in October 2022. The couple welcomed their daughter, Whitley Anne Worthington, in October 2024.
The family now lives in Oklahoma, and Worthington's latest announcement marks the beginning of his return to touring after stepping away to focus on his health and family.
