"Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel & perform this week," she wrote.
Will the Shows Be Rescheduled?
The 43-year-old Rimes apologized for the cancellation and said she will reschedule the dates next month.
"I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and I am so very grateful for your kindness, and continued support as I recover," she added. "I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon."
This cancellation comes after Rimes shared pictures of her and her husband celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Despite the festive occasion, her caption hinted at personal issues, stating there were "some very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family."
She added, "It's been a different anniversary, one filled with tears and worry, but in between, there were moments of laughter and deep gratitude for this love of ours."
LeAnn Rimes Has an Unusual Health Routine
Despite Rimes' health concerns, she continues to keep fans updated about her care. Earlier this year, the 9-1-1 Nashville actress thoughtfully shared that she underwent therapeutic plasma exchange.
In a video on Instagram, Rimes explained that the procedure "removes the liquid portion of blood, known as plasma, which contains proteins, antibodies, toxins, inflammatory agents, and other substances, and replaces it with fresh albumin."
She went on to say that the removal of those substances helps the body "have a chance to recover or respond better to other treatments. Think of it like an 'oil change for your body.'"
The reason for the treatment is that filming and touring demand "so much" from Rimes'.
"I also want to say this with care i'm very aware that access to treatments like this isn't universal," she wrote in the caption. "I share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what's been working for me."
