Justin Moore has completed a remarkably slow climb to the top spot on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. The country singer's song, "Time's Ticking," rose two spots for the April 11 listing of the chart. Reaching the top spot has concluded a 67-week slow rise to the top of the chart, showcasing sustainable week-by-week growth.

Moore now has 11 number ones to his name. According to Billboard, almost 70% of his singles have broken into the Country Airplay top 10, with 16 of them hitting the number one slot.
"Justin Moore is a consistent country radio hitmaker, and this song is no exception," Ashley Sidoti of Blue Highway Records said to Billboard. "His music stays true to the core, no matter where the genre is swaying. We are incredibly proud to be celebrating his 11th Billboard No. 1 single and the very first No. 1 single for Blue Highway Records!"
The original "Time's Ticking" was released on YouTube back in October 2024. It hit the airwaves around the same time. It's impressive how Moore continues to create music that gathers pace over the years, rather than hits virality before burning out. He's mastered the art of radio hits.
Of course, Moore is also having success on platforms such as YouTube, with over 600,000 subscribers and "Time's Ticking" receiving over 850,000 streams since its release.
Justin Moore Is Grateful for His Success
During a recent discussion with Country Now, Moore expressed his gratitude for what has become an incredibly successful career.
"It's pretty amazing, man. When I moved to Nashville, number one was never in the equation. It was just, have a couple of hits and be able to play music and make some money," he explained. "And to be where we are - you know, to have 20+ top ten records and 13 number ones is just ridiculous. Point being, I'm very, very humbled with the career that we've had, and it's just ridiculous, to be honest with ya. I don't even know what to say about it but 'thank you,' you know?"
The original release of "Time's Ticking" was a duet with Dierks Bentley. However, it's his solo version that is climbing the charts. Now, his fans will await his next slow-burning release, which will likely follow suit, gaining momentum over time. That's been a defining feat of his career thus far.
