In case you missed it, country star Billy Strings had a pretty bad night a few days ago. We reported on it when it happened - he got smacked right in the head with a foreign object.
Obviously, he was pretty incensed at the whole thing - wouldn't you be? It soured an otherwise wonderful experience at the Fishers, Indiana Fishers Event Center. So, naturally, he had an iconic tirade moments after it happened:
"You know, why the f*** would you throw something at me? Is your d*** really that small? I was just getting ready to say how much I'm happy to be here, and I love you guys, and all this s***, and then you throw something and it hits me right in the f***** head. Find out who that was and s******* them, please!"
While we're not exactly sure what the object was, one theory goes that it was a lighter. Ouch!

The Country Musician Wore a Hockey Helmet
Well, Billy Strings wasn't taking any chances at his next show, per Whiskey Riff. He showed up to night two donning an admittedly pretty cool hockey helmet.
And he just went along with it, acting as if it wasn't on his head. He played his opening track, "Red Daisy", along with his support, saying a jolly "Hello there!" to his fans before getting into the thick of it.
Of course, we don't think he actually wanted the helmet on the entire time - it was just a funny jab at what happened the night before. In fact, a video on social media shows that he took the helmet off.
The video shows the lights dimming dramatically before coming back up with a non-helmeted Billy Strings. He even plonks it down on the table dramatically, too. Pretty funny stuff, right?
Fans agreed - they commented in droves, supporting the country musician and his humorous take on annoying people.
One fan even noted that the country musician had changed the lyrics to one of his songs, explaining, "I laughed so hard while watching the stream! And the change in lyrics of "Don't let your lighters fly" during Catch and Release. Love some Billy."
