A country music star is opening up about her battle with breast cancer. Jillian Cardarelli shared an update with fans.

Fortunately, she had some good news to share. The country music star revealed that she is now cancer-free after an initial diagnosis in June.
"19 rounds. 19 mornings," she wrote on Instagram. "A huge thank you to the incredible radiation team who got me through every single one and made those early mornings a little brighter. I know you're going to miss hearing Elvis every morning. I'm so incredibly grateful to say I am CANCER FREE."
The country singer further revealed that she underwent surgery.

"I know this isn't the finish line," she wrote in her latest post. "The next chapter is endocrine therapy, and while I know it will come with its own physical and emotional challenges, I'm choosing to look at it for what it is: something I GET to do to protect my future and give myself the best chance of staying cancer free. The mental and emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis is something I don't think I'll ever fully be able to put into words. It's something that fundamentally changes your life. You don't just walk away from it and go back to who you were before. I know I am forever changed. To my husband, my family, and my friends who have carried me through this, prayed for me, loved me, and held me up on the hardest days ... thank you will never feel like enough."
Meanwhile, she also added that her thoughts are with others on their own cancer journeys. She wanted them to know that they're not alone in their battles.
"To anyone walking through their own cancer journey, my heart is with you," she added. "I know how heavy it can be, even on the days everyone else thinks you're doing great. One minute at a time, trusting God with everything that comes next."
