Country Music Star Left Bleeding After Fan Throws Phone During Live Show

Who knew that performing in front of a large live audience could become a high-risk sport?

Riley Green found that out the hard way during a recent show in Melbourne, Australia. The country music star wound up with blood trickling down his neck. He was hit with a rogue cell phone that had been thrown at him from the crowd.

Fortunately for Riley, the damage, although somewhat bloody, was only superficial.

Rather than losing his cool with the "fan" who decided that throwing their phone at a musician's head was a good choice, Green kept his composure and pointed him out to security, ensuring they got removed from the audience.

A video that has been shared on TikTok shows the rest of those in attendance booing and jeering the rogue phone thrower.

Riley didn't notice he was bleeding until a member of the backstage crew came out with a cloth for him to wipe up some of the blood.

"Damn, am I bleeding? Y'all see how tough I am?" Riley said.

Riley isn't the first musician to be hit by a rogue object during a live show. He won't be the last, either. Nevertheless, it is a reminder that throwing items onto the stage comes with a risk. It's not fair to the entertainer if they're leaving with an injury because you decided that something would be funny.

We're Not Too Far Removed From When Riley Green Had Granny Panties Thrown on Stage

During a live show back in December 2025, Riley Green had a far more humorous experience with an item being thrown on stage. Rather than a phone hitting him in the face, he found a pair of granny panties at his feet.

A TikTok video shows Riley doing his best to keep it together. But when you've got some leopard print panties on stage, that's probably harder to do than it looks. What's funny is that Riley has so many items thrown at him during his gigs, he's started collecting them to donate to charity.

"We were putting them in a big bin, and we were gonna donate them to wherever you donate bras to, I guess," Green said. "Because what I learned, there was there was like people commenting saying that they were really expensive. I didn't know that."

Maybe that means some lucky person in Australia is about to get a new phone. Hopefully, they wipe the blood off first.
