A country music star sadly wasn't able to play his "bucket list" show. Previously, Nat Myers expressed excitement at performing at the Austin City Limits in October.

"I ain't one for bucket lists but write this one down and burn the book," he wrote on social media then."We ain't got nothing left to cross off."
Sadly, it is one of the casualties after the country music star canceled his dates for the rest of the fall. Myers has been struggling with cancer for over a year. The star revealed he got some bad news recently. As such, he is stepping back from touring to focus on treatment.
"All shows thru September & October are cancelled, including Sea Hear Now, Ocean's Calling, Mammoth Festival, & Austin City Limits,"

This comes after he dropped out of touring with Charley Crockett for treatment.

he wrote on Facebook. "I have to drop out of the remaining dates I have with Charley Crockett & the blue drifters, including tonight in Orlando. I'm really sorry to do this, but after the results from yesterday I have some last minute appointments that have to happen, that make it impossible for me to be out where I want to be playing music for yall for the leave the Age of the Ram tour. I wanna thank Charley & the Crockett team for all their accommodation. They some my favorite people in this music thing. If you got a ticket, I insist you keep going out if you was planning on seeing me, they is some the best out there doing it & you won't forget it. I'ma keep you posted. My apologies. I'll be back out when I can. For now I gotta focus on getting ahead of this thing, it's snuck back up.He also added, "I'm really lowdown about it, but gotta do what's gotta be done."
Myers continues to battle cancer but refuses to let it take his love for music. The star recently shared a video of himself playing the guitar while undergoing treatment.
"I don't always bring my guitar to treatment, partially cuz I just want to sleep through the askewness chemo puts on you,"
he wrote on Facebook alongside the video. "But when I wrote 2nd Daddy I sure had to. I couldn't stop, and still can't stop playing it. Y'all really ginned me up on this hospo take. Made a bad day more sustainable, made some hard months a little easier."
