According to TMZ, authorities believe that Bennett may have killed herself. They're now investigating to confirm whether it was indeed suicide or not. This comes after Richard Bennett, her father, claimed that she had been suffering with health issues.

Months before her death, she experienced a severe allergic reaction.

"Months before her death, Lauren experienced a severe reaction to a prescribed medication," her father, Richard, said. "As a family, we all rallied around her and did everything we could to support her. We have no suspicions regarding the circumstances of her death, only deep disappointment that, for five months, medical professionals and NHS services failed to treat her appropriately during her time of greatest need."

A cause of death hasn't been determined for Bennett yet. Her father mourned the loss of his daughter in a heartbreaking tribute.

"I hope she will be remembered for her remarkable achievements, her beautiful music, and the incredible person she was. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, her family, and through the music she leaves behind," he said.

He said it was a privilege to watch her grow and see her success.

"Watching her grow into the artist she became was one of the greatest joys of my life. Her achievements in the music industry were beyond our wildest dreams and continue to make me so proud," he said. He's asking for privacy during this time.

Meanwhile, her former bandmates are also mourning the loss of Bennett.

Paula van Oppen, Natasha Slayton, and Emmalyn Estrada wrote, "Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us."

The group, G.R.L., broke up in 2014 after Simone Battle died by suicide at 25. But they got back together in 2016 to tour again. Bennett famously performed on LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," which proved to have a lot of success.

She also leaves behind a 6-year-old daughter.
