A woman was left paralyzed from the waist down after a harrowing incident at a Kentucky music festival.

What Happened at the Festival?
As reported by the New York Post, the incident occurred at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville on Friday, Sep. 18. During a performance by the band Knocked Loose, a concertgoer in a tree fell and landed on Jamie Ulshoffer of Tennessee.
Ulshoffer's spinal cord was severed in the accident. Her husband said she does not remember what happened.
"I turn around and see her on her back... Then everyone said some dude fell out of a tree," he said.
First responders hurried to the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center. They took Ulshoffer to the University of Louisville Hospital. She is continuing to recuperate from the incident. However, it is uncertain if she will be able to walk again.
"I can't feel my feet. Can't do anything that I used to," said Ulshoffer.
What Happened to the Man Who Fell on Ulshoffer?
The production team behind the Louder Than Life festival did not comment on the incident, citing patient privacy.
It is unclear whether criminal charges were filed against the man who fell on Ulshoffer.
"He shouldn't have been up there. Definitely after it just rained, too. Stupid decision. You did this, but I'll forgive," she said.
Ulshoffer's niece has organized a GoFundMe to help pay her medical bills. It has raised nearly $10,000 of its $22,000 goal.
"Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and supported Jamie during this incredibly difficult time," Ulshoffer's niece wrote. "Your kindness and generosity mean more to Jamie and our family than we can put into words. Every donation continues to help with her medical bills and the care she needs."
Meanwhile, Ulshoffer is thinking of her children in Tennessee as she continues to recover in Kentucky.
She said, "I'm not going to be able to play with the kids."
