Last year, the comedian angered parents over a bit about Santa Claus not being real (which honestly came as a shock to us). It didn't help that the clip was the first thing Netflix subscribers see when the special queues up on the streaming service.
Then Rife tried to take out New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson's legs during a celebrity softball game. Thankfully, the NFL star wasn't injured by the comedian's stunt.
But now, Rife has angered the paranormal investigator community over a comment he allegedly made on Instagram. We have the details below.

Rife and influencer Elton Castee took to Instagram to promote an event at the Haunted Warren Museum. As TMZ reports, the venue was once the home of Ed and Lorraine Warren, the paranormal investigators made famous by The Conjuring horror movie franchise. It also houses the infamous haunted Annabelle doll.
User Chris Mac, who describes himself as a "paranormal investigator," allegedly responded to the post with a lengthy take on the Salem Witch Trials. For reasons unclear to us, it provoked this alleged response from Rife.
"Sire, you are lifeless douchebag," it read. "Please remove yourself from this earth. Absolutely nobody is reading your novels in these comments. You do not matter to anybody. The event has already sold thousands of tickets. Now watch as i block you and you fall back into nonexistence."
Chris Mac Responded on Facebook
Mac then responded to Rife's comments on Facebook, where he revealed that he has autism.
He wrote, "Now am going move forward with all this nonsense garbage what Matt said and Elton Castee control your mentor Matt or get Matt therapy I don't want ever ever want see Matt bully a person with autism again do I make myself clear not ok to say with a person with autism I have autism."
According to a source close to Rife, users have been known to attack the comedian in the comment section of his posts. Rather than ignore them, Rife chooses to respond, leading the user to delete the comment.
Since the exchange is now deleted, the source explains that there is context missing from the comments. The source added that there is no evidence that Rife had any knowledge that Mac has autism.
