The music star's death was confirmed via an Instagram post.

"In the afternoon of this Saturday, January 10, sources close to Caracol Radio confirmed the death of singer and composer Yeison Jimenez, caused by a serious plane crash," Caracol Radio posted. "The incident took place in the Romita verde, in the area known as Marengo, within the territory of the municipality of Paipa."

The post went on to mention a dream that Jimenez had previously discussed. In that dream, he claims he died in a plane crash, which of course, is a freaky coincidence.

"The warning that Yeison Jimenez would have made about his death drew attention after it was learned that, a while ago, he mentioned having dreamed of a plane crash," the post continued.

Jimenez discussed his dream during a recent appearance on the "Men Do Cry" podcast.

"I have a plane," Jimenez said. "I dreamed twice in Spain, that I arrive at Olaya, in Medellin, that the captain says to me: 'Yei, we are ready' and that I say to him: 'Hey, go for a spin on the plane' and he comes back, and he says he doesn't learn the plane. That he goes back to the plane, takes off and when he returns he says: 'Well, at least I lost a tube'".

Video footage of Jimenez discussing his dream is also in the Instagram post. The conversation is in Spanish.
