Watch Cody Jinks Flawlessly Cover a Hank Williams Jr. Classic

Earlier this week, Jinks stopped by The Stone Pony in Ashbury Park, N.J. and supplied an impressive cover of Hank Williams Jr.'s famous "Whiskey Bent And Hellbound." The performance is another in a line of show-stopping covers Jinks put out. He also released a cover of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here." After Chris Cornell passed away, he performed "Black Hole Sun" in tribute.

You can check out the Hank Williams Jr. cover performance below.

Jinks' profile has completely skyrocketed since he released I'm Not The Devil in 2016. That album appeared on many lists for one of the top country albums of the year.

After the release, Jinks took off on tour all across the country, returning to old markets and hitting new ones. He sold out tons of shows all around, including a vaunted West Coast run.

And it looks like that hard work is paying off. The budding Texas star just announced his biggest concert yet, and one that's sure to sell out. Jinks will play Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium on Oct. 21. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 14.

Jinks has shows scheduled into October, including several major festival performances. He'll play Tumbleweed Music Festival in Kansas City in July as well as Bumbershoot in Seattle in Sept. He returns home to Austin to play both weekends of ACL Festival in October.

But playing at the Mother Church of Country Music certainly tops the cake. Jinks represents just one of a few artists to come from the Texas scene in the past years and land a headlining spot at the historic venue.
