People were expecting Coachella to be fire, but not this literally. Festival attendees' excitement simmered down as the heat intensified.

Coachella kicked off on Friday, but not to a great start. Those attending one of the biggest music events of the year were met with poor management as terrible traffic caused a 12-hour wait in the scorching sun on Thursday.
As people were stuck in traffic due to poor management, the temperature climbed to near-record levels. The temperature was only a few degrees off the historic 1904 high of 106 degrees, scorching the scantily clad partygoers.
Although I'm sure wearing as few layers as possible, even Factor 50 would struggle to protect your skin. So people were effectively either roasting or burning, which would put a dampener on the event.
But it wasn't just the insane waiting time and incredible heat that angered the paying customers, however. The organizers dropped the ball pretty hard everywhere else, too.
Someone took to TikTok to share their "dehumanizing" experience
People Paid $600, And This Is The Best They Can Do?
The fed-up festival fan described the many ways that Coachella failed to help the bad spot they got their customers in, and how the heat encouraged irritable, impatient, and indecent behaviour.
"It's 100 degrees outside, people's cars are overheating, they're running out of gas, there are no bathrooms anywhere for us to use," she listed off. Apparently there were staff porta potties, but people were being denied access to them.
She described that the desperate have taken to relieving themselves in and behind bushes, "like animals."
"This whole experience has been so disappointing, and it's been extremely dehumanizing."
Her story corroborates with what a man told Business Insider, "People are peeing in cups."
"It's been eight hours; people gotta do what they gotta do."
He went on to say that he felt "duped," and compared the event to the infamous and disastrous Fyre Festival. "I made a joke earlier that I didn't know Fyre Festival tickets were included in admission this year, but that's honestly how I feel."
Let's just hope the festival itself makes up for this subpar organization and coordination.
