The CMT Awards, dubbed by the network as “Country Music’s Loudest Night,” will feature performances by the biggest acts in the business and some unusual collaborations.

Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean will perform at the show, which will air live from Nashville on CMT June 8.

Expect to see additional country artists join the main performers on stage. The Oak Ridge Boys and Shelton are set to sing “Doin’ It to a Country Song,” a collaboration off Shelton’s new album If I’m Honest. Newcomer Maren Morris and Brett Eldredge will take the stage with Urban to sing his single “Wasted Time.” Both Morris and Eldredge are support acts on Urban’s Ripcord tour.

Aside from Morris, I’m surprised CMT didn’t include more female performers in their lineup for this year’s show.

The CMT Awards is a fan-voted award show. Categories include Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, Group/Duo Video of the Year, Breakthrough Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the Year.
