CMA Fest 2018 Is Headed to Television This Week

Country music fans will be able to see performances from some of the genre's biggest names on primetime television later this week.

CMA Fest, a television special co-hosted by Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini, will air Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 8/7c on ABC. The one-night-only program features performances from the festival's nightly concerts at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.

Performers include Jason Aldean, Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Dustin Lynch, Midland, Old Dominion, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Rhett, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Cole Swindell, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Brett Young. Fans will also see special collaborations from Lauren Alaina and Kane Brown, Julia Michaels with Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen and Florida Georgia Line and Dwight Yoakam with Dierks Bentley.

2018 marks the 15th year that highlights from the festival will be broadcast on television. This year's festival was held June 7-10 in downtown Nashville and featured over 300 country artists.

The 2019 CMA Music Festival will be held June 6-9, 2019. A ticket pre-sale for next year's festival is currently ongoing, while a general on sale will begin on Monday, Aug. 6.
