'Fixer Upper' Carpenter Clint Harp's HGTV Series Picked up for Full Season

Get excited Clint Harp fans! HGTV just announced that their DIY network has picked up his series, Wood Work, for a full season. Harp broke the news to his fans via Instagramwhere he frequently posts project updates.

Harp spoke to KWTX and confirmed that he and the crew will start filming in August, in Waco, Texas (where their company Harp Design Co. is based). "We are so grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to get to work on it!" said Harp.

Fortunately, after a chance meeting with Chip Gaines, Harp made a name for himself on Joanna Gaines' show Fixer Upper. Harp created custom carpentry projects on the show. Harp and his wife also had an earlier pilot show, Against the Grain, that didn't take off, so having Wood Work picked up was especially exciting for the Harps.

The DIY Network describes the show: Along with his wife, Kelly, and the team at Harp Design Co., Clint uses reclaimed lumber to build new furniture out of old wood for clients. Crazy requests with tight deadlines are the norm. But Clint and his team are ready to tackle any "Wood Work" challenge.
