Classic Rock Band "All On Board" To Reunite For An Epic Tour Together

The comments come after the band's drummer accused its lead singer of delaying a possible tour due to salary demand.

It looks like there's still hope for a Poison tour.

It was expected that the glam metal band would go hit the road for the 40th anniversary of its debut album, Look What the Cat Dragged In. Then, last month, we reported that its frontman, Bret Michaels, demanded 600% more than his bandmates.

"We had a great offer, I thought. But we left the table," said drummer Rikki Rockett. "It didn't work. Really, what it came to was [guitarist] C.C. [DeVille], [bassist] Bobby [Dall], and I were all in, and I thought Bret was, but he wanted the lion's share of the money, to the point where it makes it not possible to even do it. It's like $6 to every one of our dollars. You just can't work that way."

Now, Rockett has come back and clarified those comments, giving Poison fans hope that they'll see the band perform live once again. We have the details below.

Rockett Says Poison Wants to Work

Rockett talked about a possible tour during an episode of the SiriusXM show Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk.

"And so the reason I said what I said is because ... all the information I had was the truth, from my standpoint," said Rockett. "And a lot of people, they start assuming things.

He added, "I was seeing stuff on social media: 'Oh, Rikki has cancer again. Or [guitarist] C.C.'s [DeVille] is off the wagon again,' or all these different things. 'Those guys don't really wanna work' and 'Bret wants to work.' And none of those things are true. We do wanna work, all of us do wanna work. C.C.'s sober, I don't have cancer. None of those things are true."

Rockett Did Say Bret Michaels Is Right About One Thing

The drummer added that Michaels was right about something. The band didn't sit down to negotiate the terms of a tour.

"It never did get that far," shared Rockett. "It got kiboshed at the very beginning. But I just wanted to put a sensible reason to it so that everybody understands that it wasn't [bassist] Bobby [Dall], C.C. or me, any of those rumors you heard, that's not why we weren't touring. And so I have to answer it with something."

While it looks like a Poison tour in 2026 is unlikely, Rockett says there's hope for 2027.

"I said what I said, Bret said what he said, but today we're talking about doing something in '27, and I know Bobby wants to do it. I talk to C.C. all the time," he explained. "We're all on board."
