The son of famed supermodel and actress Cindy Crawford has tragically died. Authorities confirmed that Presley Gerber, a model in his own right, has died.

He was just 27. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner revealed that Gerber passed away at a rehab facility on Sunday.
"The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time," a representative told TMZ. They did not reveal a cause of death for the young model.
In recent years, Crawford's son has struggled with sobriety. In 2019, police arrested him for a DUI in California and sentenced him to three years of probation. Meanwhile, in 2024, he opened up about his struggles with substance abuse on social media. He wanted "to spark real conversations about the stuff most people hide. It's been incredible seeing how far that message has spread and how many people it's helped."

"Quiet moment before everything changed," he also wrote in one post. "I was absolutely terrified, and I knew I would be again if I ever had to face something like this (helps to not go into the situations you do that get ya there but that's life sometimes.)"
He continued, "Letting go of control didn't come easy, but I trusted there was something bigger than me guiding it. I knew why I was there. I faced what I had been running from, and somewhere in all of it, I started finding my way back to myself .... We shall see.... Praying it's the last time I have to come back."
Crawford and family stood by him through his struggles with addiction. In one comment, his father, Rande, praised the young model for being brave. Crawford herself wrote, "You are a warrior! Walked thru the fire to find yourself! So proud!"
Meanwhile, more recently, Gerber's sibling Kaia opened up about his addiction struggles over the past decade.
"My parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn't share anything—and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, 'I'm gonna be very human for everyone,'" she said. "There's only so much you can hide from the world. And trying to put a lid on something just makes the person feel like you're ashamed of them."
It sounds like he was seeking help at the time of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Crawford and his family.
