The nominees for this year’s American Music Awards have just been announced, and the country music categories feature some stiff competition.

Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett both snagged two nominations this year, and are going head to head in the Favorite Male Artist category. Breakthrough artists Kelsea Ballerini and Cam will battle against longtime favorite Carrie Underwood in the Favorite Female Artist category.

Although Chris Stapleton has swept almost every country music award show in the last year, he’s only grabbed one nomination at the American Music Awards. His beloved record Traveller is up for Favorite Album, along with Luke Bryan’s “Kill The Lights” and Carrie Underwood’s “Storyteller”.

The 2016 American Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 20 via ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
