Chip and Joanna Gaines, the stars of HGTV's show Fixer Upper, will launch their very own magazine this October.
With three seasons under wraps and a fourth on the way, Fixer Upper follows Chip and Joanna on their quest to help couples in the Waco, Texas area create their dream home. But fixing up homes is just one aspect of the couple's company, Magnolia.
Now, they'll get to show off all of their expertise and highlight their favorite products in "Magnolia" magazine. The periodical will focus on a range of home and lifestyle topics, including entertaining, healthy living, food, family, outdoor living and gardening. The Meredith Corporation will publish the new magazine. That means the Gaines' publication will be in good company alongside magazines like Better Homes & Garden.
In each issue, Joanna will detail some of her favorite things. That should set a few trends. She's the stylish one of the power couple, after all. Since lifestyle magazines are some of the most popular reading around, they're sure to have a hit on their hands.
And for those who just can't get enough of the Magnolia way of living, the Gaines have their first book coming out in October as well. The Magnolia Story drops Oct. 18 and details the couple's rise from small-town charmers to a national brand.
