Hayden Panettiere 911 Call Surfaces Following Her Death

As previously reported, the 'Nashville' star had traveled to South Carolina with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Bryan Hickerson, and his brother Zach Hickerson. It was Bryan who initially found Hayden unresponsive in the Airbnb on August 16.

In the audio, Zach can be heard saying "oh my god," before explaining to the operator that he had just returned to the rental property after church before finding the actress. The operator then asks Bryan if Hayden was breathing, to which he replied: "No, I don't think so."

It was at that point that the dispatcher told Zach that he would need to locate a defibrillator so that they could try to resuscitate her. However, there was no defibrillator at the time of the call. They then confirmed that the 'Heroes' star was not breathing.

The operator then instructed Zach that he would need to attempt CPR to resuscitate her.

"I'm going to tell you how to do CPR, OK? We're gonna start with ventilation first," the operator can be heard saying.

Zach continued to perform CPR until the first responders arrived at the rental property and took over. Unfortunately, their attempts were unsuccessful. The actress was pronounced dead at the scene.

Greenville Police confirmed Hayden's cause of death as an accidental overdose. They believe that she took an assortment of other drugs that included traces of fentanyl. They believe that she took the fatal dosage before boarding a flight from Los Angeles to California.

An investigation into the actress's death is still ongoing.
