On Sunday, March 11, singer-songwriter Charlie Worsham posted to social media that he and his girlfriend, Kristen Anne Korzenowski, were engaged.
"The Good Lord has blessed me so much in this life, but never more than when He put this amazing woman in it," Worsham wrote on Instagram. "First date was at Mickey's, Pac Man table, darts and all. Since then, she's made every day sweeter. I love you, Kristen Anne Korzenowski, and I am thrilled to spend the rest of my life with you."
While Charlie Worsham is perhaps best known for his second album, Beginning of Things, released last year along with the single "Cut Your Groove," he's also involved in charity work. In fact, Worsham met Korzenowski through Nashville's Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
Worsham needed help setting up his Follow Your Heart Scholarship, part of his Follow Your Heart Arts Program which gives instruments to kids who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford one. While getting the scholarship in place, he met Korzenowski and connected with her beyond the paperwork.
There's no news as to how exactly Worsham proposed, but by the look of glee on their faces, it must have been sweet.
