Charlie Kirk's death rocked the world. And now, one year on, the Turning Point founder is set to be immortalized in bronze.
As reported by the New York Post, Italian-born artist Sergio Furnari has created a statue of Charlie Kirk. He intends to unveil the statue in Times Square on the one-year anniversary of Kirk's passing.
More specifically, September 10, 2026m at 2:23 pm. That's right—down to the very minute he was assassinated.
The artist, who moved to New York 35 years ago, said that Times Square was a deliberate choice. "You know, I'm a New Yorker, so Times Square is like La Piazza. Everything happens in the city, in the center of the town."
In another post, he described Times Square as "the center of the universe." To be honest, it's a pretty public spot—there's even a 24/7 livestream of Times Square.
The artist also said that he had plans for the Charlie Kirk statue, which would be mounted "really high on a truck so that everybody can see."
Furnari also said he handmade the life-size statue with his "hand, soul, and body."
He added that, "You can bring over whoever you want, family or friends. If you were a big fan of Charlie, this will be your opportunity to maybe find a little bit of peace or harmony."

This Isn't the Only Charlie Kirk Memorial
But this isn't the only memorial dedicated to Charlie Kirk.
As we reported when it was unveiled, a Nashville highway was renamed to honor the Turning Point founder. The 15-mile stretch of highway was re-designated from the Vietnam Veterans Boulevard to the Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway.
The proposal said that the highway's potential renaming would honor "the prominent political activist, media personality, and true pioneer for freedom of speech who co-founded the conservative student organization Turning Point USA and served as its executive director until his assassination in 2025."
The designation of the highway meant new signage, which was funded by an anonymous donor. This could have been a number of people, but one thing we know is that the state government wasn't involved.
