Charles Kelley Hints at Collaboration with Miranda Lambert

It looks like Miranda Lambert might be making a guest appearance on Charles Kelley‘s upcoming solo album.

The Lady Antebellum vocalist is currently in the studio, hard at work on his first solo EP. Over the weekend, Kelley shared a photo of his studio’s mixing board through his Instagram. One of the board’s faders is clearly marked with the title “Miranda,” which has led many to assume that Miranda Lambert has provided guest vocals for one of his new tracks.

So far, Kelley hasn’t officially confirmed that Lambert is his mystery collaborator. It seems like a likely choice following the release of his debut solo single “The Driver,” which also features vocals from Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay.

Kelley is hoping to release his currently untitled EP sometime in early 2016. Earlier this year, he announced a 22-city small club tour with support from Maren Morris. After canceling his shows in Charlotte, N.C. and Atlanta just hours before the concerts were set to begin, it was announced that the rest of his tour would be postponed until spring 2016. So far, none of the newly rescheduled tour dates have been announced.
