Saturday marked a memorable moment for actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the co-owners of Welsh soccer club Wrexham AFC. And Reynolds and wife Blake Lively got cozy during a recent match.

Wrexham, currently competing in the second tier of English soccer, hosted Premier League giants Chelsea in an entertaining Emirates FA Cup fifth-round clash at the Racecourse Ground.
Although Chelsea eventually secured a 4-2 victory after overtime, ending Wrexham's cup run, the underdogs produced an impressive performance on a big stage.
Wrexham took the lead in the 18th minute and again in the 78th, only for Chelsea to respond with equalizers on both occasions. Once the game moved into extra time, however, the Premier League side's quality ultimately proved decisive.
Celebrity Couple Spotted During Dramatic FA Cup Clash
As expected, Reynolds and McElhenney were both in attendance, with television broadcasts frequently cutting to the pair during the match.
Eagle-eyed viewers also spotted Reynolds alongside his wife, actress Blake Lively.
Photos from the game captured the couple sharing a kiss in the stands, while another showed Reynolds embracing Lively during the tense cup tie.
Lively later shared a post on her Instagram Stories featuring the two on the pitch, captioning the moment: "What. A. Game."
Despite the defeat, Reynolds and McElhenney were also seen applauding their players after the final whistle, clearly proud of the team's performance against one of England's biggest clubs.
The American and Canadian actors purchased Wrexham in November 2020. They have since overseen a remarkable rise through the English soccer pyramid.
When they first took over, the club was competing in the fifth tier. Today, Wrexham sits in the Championship, just one step away from the Premier League.
The club's global profile has also soared during that time, fueled in large part by the Disney+ documentary series Welcome to Wrexham.
Rare Public Outing Amid Ongoing Legal Battle
The match also marked a relatively rare public appearance for Reynolds and Lively.
The couple, who have been married since 2012, have largely kept a lower public profile as Lively continues to navigate a high-profile legal dispute involving actor Justin Baldoni.
The legal battle began in December 2024 following allegations related to the production of the film It Ends With Us.
Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni has denied the allegations. He responded by filing several lawsuits, including one against The New York Times over its reporting on Lively's claims. He also launched another suit against both Lively and Reynolds alleging civil extortion, defamation and invasion of privacy.
Both lawsuits were later dismissed by a judge.
Lively's original lawsuit, however, remains active and is currently scheduled to go to trial on May 18.
