The cause of death for Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte has been revealed. As we previously reported, he tragically passed away at age 34.
His death was confirmed by a rep for the actor in a statement. "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte."
"Drawing from his own experience living with cerebal palsy, Mitte brought authenticity to the role and built a platform on disability awareness and inclusion."
Per Variety, his rep later confirmed that the Breaking Bad star tragically passed away from suicide. The Brownsville Police Department reported that they found him dead in his home, but "The cause and manner of death are still pending."

Tributes have poured in across the entertainment world for RJ Mitte.
Co-star Bryan Cranston, who played Mitte's father Walter White on the award-winning TV show Breaking Bad, released a touching statement following his passing. "I'm in deep despair as I write this tonight," Cranston wrote.
He referred to Mitte as his "sweet son on Breaking Bad". "I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as Walter White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm."
"Born with Cerebral Palsy, he never - ever - allowed that challenge to be an excuse for anything," he continued.
Cranston added, "I can't stop there without imploring anyone who is contemplating suicide to please call for the support you need at 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (https://988lifeline.org/). There is hope."
Dean Norris, who played Hank Schrader on the show, also posted a touching tribute. "Though RJ didn't play my TV son, I always looked out for him as a young kid on set. He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed. This is so heartbreaking, I can't believe it. Thinking of him and his family."
Per The Daily Express, Aaron Paul also released a touching statement. He said in part, "I am at a loss. I am heartbroken over this news. RJ, I love you my friend... you will be missed."
