The cake for Carrie Underwood's son Isaiah's 6th birthday tells us two things— The American Idol-winning superstar went all out for her oldest child's first (and hopefully only) coronavirus pandemic birthday, and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers may never go out of style.
"Today, we celebrate Isaiah...because today, he is 6 whole years old!," reads the image description on social media. "Isaiah, you are kind, funny, smart, the best big brother, a lover of cuddles and crafts and you have the biggest heart and the best imagination! You love to make people feel good and you especially love to make them laugh! God has given you so many gifts and every day, I thank Him that I get to be your mom! I love you, Monkey! ❤️❤️❤️ Happy birthday!"
Underwood then thanked the Ivey Cake Store in Brentwood, Tenn. for designing a Power Rangers cake for her "Little Drummer Boy" duet partner.
Power Rangers became a pop culture phenomenon in the United States back in 1993. The series' cast and title changed over the years, with the team referenced on Isaiah's cake, Power Rangers Ninja Steel, active in 2017 and 2018. The 2018 season was the TV show's 25th overall and its final produced by Saban Brands. The brand, now owned by Hasbro, lives on in 2021 as Power Rangers Dino Fury.
Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher have a younger son, 2-year-old Jacob.

In other Underwood news, she's not among the ACM Awards' Female Artist of the Year or Entertainer of the Year nominees for the first time in 15 years. Last year, she split Entertainer of the Year with Thomas Rhett. This time around, she's only nominated for one award: Video of the Year for "Hallelujah," a John Legend collaboration from her 2020 Christmas album My Gift.
The 56th Annual ACM Awards are set for April 18 in Nashville, Tenn. and will air on CBS. It'll continue awards show season, which kicked off on Feb. 28 with the Golden Globes and extends through the Oscar's April 25 airdate.
