Carrie Underwood delivered a powerhouse performance of her brand new single "Cry Pretty" at the 2018 ACM Awards, earning the singer a standing ovation from the star studded crowd.
The performance was a comeback of sorts for Underwood, who hasn't made a public appearance since suffering a fall outside her Nashville home late last year. The fall broke her wrist and required the singer to get 40-50 stitches in her face.
Written by Underwood, Lori McKenna, Liz Rose and Hillary Lindsay, the song reflects the strength in showing emotional vulnerability.

Underwood is already a winner tonight. She took home the award with Vocal Event of the Year for her duet with Keith Urban, "The Fighter." She's also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.
