Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean and More Added to CMT Music Awards Lineup

The CMT Music Awards are going all-out on performances this year. New additions to the lineup include the Backstreet Boys, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood and more. Oh, and it looks like Little Big Town will take a breather from hosting to also perform.

The June 6 award show takes place right before the start of CMA Fest in downtown Nashville. In addition to solo performances, the evening also features collaborations between Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne and Darius Rucker, Charles Kelley and Jason Aldean.

The evening promises plenty of entertainment for country fans. And hey, it focuses on music videos, which are a ton of fun.

Before this new batch of artists, the show already announced performances from artists such as Kelsea Ballerini, Chris Stapleton and Sam Hunt. Kelly Clarkson will also perform. She's singing her sultry version of The Guess Who's classic tune "American Woman." That tune serves as the theme song to the new show of the same name.

Fans who want to attend the live broadcast are in luck. You can still snag some nosebleed seats at Bridgestone Arena for around $50 (before fees). And if you want to vote in the awards, head over to CMT.com now.
