Carrie Underwood is Back in the Studio

Carrie Underwood fans may have new music from the singer to look forward to. On Wednesday, April 3, Underwood shared a photo of herself on Instagram. She's pictured in the studio, sitting at a soundboard. There's no caption on the photo, but Underwood seems to be hinting that she's working on new music.

Underwood hasn't released a full-length album since 2015's Storyteller, which spawned four No. 1 singles, "Church Bells," "Dirty Laundry," "Smoke Break," and "Heartbeat."

Her most recent release is the anthemic Ludacris-collaboration  "The Champion," which she debuted earlier this year.

Last November, Underwood suffered a fall outside her Nashville home, causing a broken wrist and requiring the singer to get over 40 stitches on her face. In January, she told fans that she's "good to go" after undergoing surgery.

Underwood is among the lineup for the 2018 CMA Fest, along with Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Darius Rucker, Carly Pearce, and more.
