Carrie Underwood has had a busy year already. She released her sixth studio album Cry Pretty on Sept. 14 and is in the middle of prepping for a world tour. But the country singer's life is about to get even busier. In August, the country superstar revealed she's pregnant with baby No. 2 in a video announcement to her fans.
When Underwood announced the dates for her Cry Pretty Tour 360, featuring Maddie and Tae and Runaway June, she noted that it might seem strange that she's waiting until May to start the tour. Then she revealed the reason.
"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon to be adding another little fish to our pond," Underwood said. "This has absolutely just been a dream come true with the album and with baby news and all that stuff. We're just so excited and so glad you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us."
While Underwood didn't share any specifics on when her new bundle of joy would be arriving, her due date is most likely in January or February. The Cry Pretty tour is set to kick off on May 1, which would give the singer a few months to stay at home with her little ones before she hits the road.

The next big question is whether the baby-on-the-way is a boy or a girl. During Underwood's appearance on The Ellen Show back in September, the talk show host commented on the pink cape covering Underwood's baby bump and questioned the singer on whether she was having a boy or a girl.
The country star said she and her husband, Mike Fisher, prefer to keep that information to theirselves — at least for now.
"We like to kind of just hold on to things for a minute," Underwood said. "I feel like everybody just knows everything about everybody so I just like to have a little secret for a little while."
While Ellen is convinced that it's a girl, Underwood is still keeping quiet for now.
However, during the 2014 CMA Awards, which Underwood hosted with Brad Paisley, Paisley let it slip on air that Underwood was expecting a boy. With the singer set to co-host the awards ceremony with Paisley for the 11th time this November, it's possible that Underwood's pal might "accidentally" share the secret with the rest of us again.
