We all know that Carrie Underwood has no tolerance for cheaters. She once again makes that evidently clear (with style, of course) in her new video for “Dirty Laundry.”
Shot completely in black and white, the country star is shown alongside a group of appropriately stony-faced men and women.
“It’s about emotion — my emotion, [and] we have other people that came in to just kind of be one-on-one with the camera and just emote directly into the lens,” Underwood told ET. “Different guys and girls come in, and it’s just all about emotion. It’s not to following the storyline too much, which is something I really didn’t wanna do. It’s a little more abstract than that.”
“Dirty Laundry” is featured on Underwood’s incredibly popular 2015 LP, Storyteller. This year, Carrie is up for four CMA award nominations. She is also the only female nominated in the “Entertainer of the Year” category. Underwood will be going up against Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban for the coveted title.
You can catch Underwood as co-host of the 50th annual CMA Awards, alongside Brad Paisley, Nov. 2 on ABC.
