Carrie Underwood Welcomes Second Baby With Mike Fisher, Announces Name

Carrie Underwood gave birth to her second child, a boy, with husband Mike Fisher on Monday, Jan. 21. Jacob Bryan Fisher was born early Monday morning. Underwood shared the news on her Instagram page.

"Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday...his mom, dad and big brother couldn't be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle!" Underwood wrote. "Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good..."

The country superstar also shared the first photos of the baby, included one of her three-year-old son Isaiah holding his new little brother.

Underwood announced that she was expecting a baby boy during the 2018 CMA Awards, which she co-hosted with Brad Paisley. The announcement was during the stars' opening monologue, which included Paisley asking Underwood if she was expecting a "Johnny or June" and continued grilling Underwood with a list of famous duos.

Underwood married Mike Fisher, a former player for the Nashville Predators, in 2010.
