Count Carly Pearce as one of the latest artists to come down with the flu. The Kentucky native reveals she is battling illness while wrapping up her Hummingbird World Tour overseas. Fortunately for her fans, Pearce is determined to power through and finish her tour.

"Yall, the last few days I have been battling feeling sick but yesterday the flu hit me right in the face," Pearce announces on social media. "God has a funny sense of humor sometimes... these shows are some of the biggest sold out shows of my career and of course this would happen, right?!"
Pearce goes on to say that, with the help of her doctor and team, she is not canceling or postponing any tour dates.
"We WILL finish out this tour strong and I will give you EVERYTHING I have," Pearce says. "Manchester, Belfast, Glasgow and Dublin- if the shows look a little different, know that I promise to show up each night giving you my all.
"I love y'all so much and DONT GET THIS FLU," she concludes. "Last week in Europe let's do this!!! Prayers appreciated."

The flu isn't the only struggle Pearce has had to battle. In 2024, Pearce revealed she was diagnosed with pericarditis, which is inflammation of the structure around the heart. Thankfully, Pearce is on the mend, and back to resuming her full-energy shows - at least when she doesn't have the flu.
"I'm doing better. I'm healthy, I'm trying to find my new normal. I have what's called recurrent pericarditis. I've had several flares since 2020," Pearce says on the Today Show. "With a busy schedule, I just have to maintain balance more. Maybe not going a thousand percent when I'm running, or maybe walking on a day that I feel a little bit less myself. Just trying to figure out ways to keep my mind and my body just more calm."
Pearce recently announced the release of a deluxe version of hummingbird, an album she released last year. hummingbird: no rain, no flowers will be released on March 14.
