A Marine Corps veteran fought back against four hooded teenagers who allegedly attempted to carjack him in broad daylight in Maryland.

The incident unfolded at around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday in Oxon Hill, roughly 10 miles outside Washington, D.C.
Surveillance footage shows Jheyco Borda working on his truck when four teens approached him.
One of the suspects pulled out a handgun, pointed it at Borda's face, and demanded his keys and phone.
What followed was a dramatic struggle that was caught on camera.

After a tense standoff, Borda appeared to grab hold of the weapon, triggering a physical confrontation with the suspects.
As the struggle unfolded, two of the teens fled the scene while Borda's brother rushed over to help.
Moments later, a gunshot could be heard ringing out.
Despite the danger, Borda managed to overpower one of the suspects and throw him to the ground before the footage ended.
The Marine veteran later shared the video on social media alongside a warning to others.
"Be careful and be aware of your surroundings," he wrote.
Fortunately, reports indicate that no one was struck by the gunfire.
Borda's brother also pursued a second suspect and managed to wrestle him to the ground.
The two detained teens were reportedly restrained until officers from the Prince George's County Police Department arrived and took them into custody.
