A historic castle in Witchita, Kan. is up for grabs.
Campbell Castle, designed by Boston architect Alfred Gould, is listed at a cool $3.5 million. In 1973, the mansion was included on the United States National Register of Historic Places as a “building of architectural significance,” according to the realtor. The remarkable property is nestled along a bend in the Little Arkansas River.
The 10,457-square-foot castle and accompanying 3,000-square-foot carriage house include a total of 17 bedrooms and 19 baths. The property covers two acres of land and includes a carriage house for guests.
Special rooms include a solarium, grand foyer, formal dining room and lounge. The kitchen has ample space to prepare meals for several guests.
