This past week, Bunnie XO talked about her personal experience of hitchhiking with someone she didn't know. While she read anonymous confessions on Dumb Blonde, a listener mentioned how they'd ran away as a teenager. Apparently, the situation started with them hopping in someone's car, and ended with them trying acid for the first time. "I love crazy stories like that too," Bunnie shared. The podcast host went on to explain her own experience that she'd had years ago when she was still "underage."

"Tasha and I did get picked up one time whenever we were walking down by the trailer park." She continued, "I'd never do that again. True. I f***ing learned a lesson."
She explained, "Some f***ing grown ass man picked us up and took us to his f***ing house. Like, the amount of sh*t that we f***ing did." Apparently, the man drove a Porsche, and that was enough for Bunnie and her friend at the time. "That's all it took for us," she shared. "We were like, 'Oh, Porsche.'"
While she didn't elaborate on what went down at the house, Bunnie warned her listeners, "Do not f***ing hitchhike. It's not cool."
Bunnie Tells All in New Memoir
Bunnie has been incredibly open about her upbringing over the years, especially in her new book, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic. In the book, she talks about what her life was like growing up in an abusive household and running away from home at just 14. She would later get involved in the sex work industry as a means of "reclaiming her power."
"I've always considered myself an open book," she shared with People, "So when it came time to pour my heart into chapters, it only felt natural to write about what I know best — my journey, my perspective, and the grit that's carried me through."
"'Stripped Down' is the rawest reflection of who I am in every form," she continued. "It felt only fitting to name my book after the way I've always lived life — raw, unfiltered, and in my naked truth."
Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic is scheduled to hit bookstores on February 10, 2026. A book tour will follow, during which Bunnie Xo will visit cities such as New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
