This Quirky Home Comes With a 'Historic Texans Burial Plot' in the Front Yard

The house at 311 Towhee Dr in Buda, Texas has recently been trending after hitting the market. On the outside, it looks like your typical suburban ranch-style home type. On the inside is where things get...interesting. To say the decor is an explosion of colors is an understatement. This is a minimalist's nightmare.

The number of customized square feet in this house has to be high. While it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea, these carefully decorated cabinets in the kitchen definitely made this someone's dream home. Why would you want to live in any old house or townhome when you could get to see all of this color every day?

While you won't find an open floor plan in this house you will find a lot of the color pink. Especially in this bathroom, with even more decorated cabinets.

The large front yard is supposedly the location of a "Historic Texans burial plot." There aren't any grave markers and there isn't any more information provided. We have so many questions. Is it haunted? What did the realtor tell prospective buyers during the open house? Does the HOA know, or care? Either way, at just over 3,000 square feet and .68 acres, it's a solid lot size for any growing family.

Buda, Texas is a growing suburb south of Austin. Similar to Leander, Dripping Springs, and Round Rock, it provides a quieter way of life while staying close to the big city. Real estate is more attainable there, which is good for those trying to escape the crazy downtown Austin prices. Just north of Kyle and San Marcos in Hays County, it's an awesome Central Texas location with plenty of good homes for sale. With solid school districts and lots of new construction, what's not to like? (It also has cute animal inspired street names like Jack Rabbit Ln, Pheasant Run, and Dark Horse Ln.)

According to Redfin, the house has now been sold. We're so curious to know if the new owner is changing the inside or keeping the home's unique decor.
