Bryan Andrews isn't shy when it comes to sharing his opinions about President Donald Trump. And, the country music star has made headlines once again, this time for taking aim at his fellow country stars for their support of the current President.

"May not get invited to anymore fish fry's but at least they'll know that REAL country music songs a whole lot more like this song than that 'Obey or Die' mindset these bootlickin' country artists be tryna push these days," Andrews wrote on a caption over an Instagram video.
During the video, one of Andrews' new songs is playing. He has labelled his latest music as "Anti-fascist country."
Andrews doesn't hide his disdain for President Trump, nor his political agenda. He's been a vocal opponent of Trump for years, and often makes his thoughts clear via social media. Interestingly, that positions Andrews in the opposite camp to some of country music's biggest stars. Both Jason Aldean and John Rich have campaigned for Trump in the past.
Bryan Andrews Recently Explained Why He's So Vocal on Social Media Regarding Politics
During a recent appearance on Rolling Stone's "Nashville Now" podcast, Andrews explained why he's using his social media platform to voice his dismay at America's current political climate.
"I've always been kind of like a brash guy on social media," Andrews said. "But when I decided I wanted to start speaking about these things is when they became too loud to ignore. For me, it was watching the L.A. ICE raids happen, and then watching some of the other injustices that we've seen, like rolling back policies that help marginalized communities. That's when I was like, this is too loud for me to ignore, especially being someone who can directly talk to the people who support it."
Andrews' stance on Trump and politics in general will undoubtedly cost him some fans. However, he's standing up for what he believes in. And while it's impossible for everyone to agree with him, you can at least respect that he's putting principle ahead of maximum success.
Still, calling others within your industry "bootlickers" is certainly an interesting career choice.
