You may know that Bruce Springsteen and President Donald Trump have been going at each other for a while.

The Boss has said the current administration is "corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless, and treasonous." President Trump has called the "Born to Run" singer a "total loser."
Well, Springsteen can now add someone else to his list of enemies. Jonathan Cain of Journey has now spoken out against the rock legend. We have the details below.
Bruce Springsteen vs. Journey Wasn't on Our 2026 Bingo Card
Springsteen's most recent tour has become a political rally of sorts. In addition to performing his hits, he uses his concerts to criticize President Trump and his policies.
Cain took issue with Springsteen sharing his views on stage during a recent episode of the Tom Barnard Podcast, and referred to him as an "annoying, bitter old man" for doing so.
"I'm a diehard conservative... And guys like Bruce Springsteen should shut up. You know, really, honestly, shut up, Bruce, you know?" said Cain. "Him and who's the other one? Robert DeNiro. I mean, who cares, guys?... Do your art. I try to keep politics out of my music."
Cain's Words Drew Quite the Response
Cain went on to say, "You were born in the USA, weren't you, dude? So act like it... But even that song, if you look at the lyrics, I mean, it's a kind of a diss to our country."
Springsteen has not responded to Cain's remarks. However, the internet had quite a bit to say about the keyboardist's comments.
"You lost me at Journey keyboardist," wrote one user.
Another added, "Notice how they have to tell you who Jonathan Cain is in the headline while the singer who quit his band over 40 years ago needs no such introduction."
One comment referenced a cease-and-desist letter Journey's guitarist Neal Schon sent Cain in 2022 demanding that he stop performing the band's songs at political events.
"He also got kicked off the band's credit card for spending too much money on luxury flights," the comment read. "Statements from him are further from a flex than anything Springsteen has said."
