It's almost the most wonderful time of the year for country music fans - CMA Fest. That's right, next week marks the beginning of the exhausting and fulfilling four-day festival that brings tens of thousands of country music lovers to Nashville, Tennessee to see their favorite artists perform all around town.
This year the event is bigger than ever, adding new stages, new artists, and new opportunities to allow fans to get closer to musicians. To bring CMA Fest to those who are unable to make the trip to Music City, ABC will air its annual television special, starring performers from the Nissan Stadium stage. Included in those who may be seen on the special are Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, and Luke Bryan.
Hosting the televised event are former tour mates Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett, taking over the duties from three-time hosts Little Big Town. Eldredge and Rhett each took to Twitter to share their excitement about joining forces for the CMA Fest special.
