Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have listed their downtown New Orleans mansion.
The couple who married in 2014 purchased the house for $3.5 million in 2006, just months after Hurricane Katrina tore through the city. The 7,645-square-foot house is listed for $6.5 million, which is a bargain considering its central location in the city's famous French Quarter.
The listing states that "prospective buyers are not allowed to take pictures of the interior," but says most of the home has been renovated by Pitt himself. The house is known to have features that include marble fireplaces, a private courtyard and a guest house.
The couple isn't planning on leaving their adopted city permanently. "Yes they are letting go of this property and will look for something more off the beaten path down the road," Cynthia Pett-Dante of Brillstein Entertainment Partners told NOLA.com. "In the meantime, they remain committed to, and infatuated as ever with the city of New Orleans, and will continue to focus on growth in the lower 9th through the Make It Right Foundation."
