Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss' song "Whiskey Lullaby" was one of the biggest country songs of 2004. At a recent concert, country newcomer Mickey Guyton stepped in as Paisley's duet partner for a great rendition of the fan favorite.
Guyton, who is acting as Paisley's opening act for a stretch of his 2015 Crushin' It World Tour, is seen putting her own spin on Krauss' part in this video from a recent performance in Raleigh, N.C. Guyton's sweet but powerful voice blends perfectly alongside Paisley's throughout the ode to tragic love.
Shortly before the tour's opening night, Paisley took to his Twitter page to praise his opening act and new collaborator.

While it's a great sign for Mickey Guyton's career that she's earned such praise from a country music superstar so early in her career, it shouldn't be a big surprise for those who have been following her over the past few months. Guyton has already earned a lot of praise from critics and listeners alike for her debut single, "Better Than You Left Me," which broke airplay records within its first week of release.
Mickey Guyton's self-titled debut EP is available in stores and online now. Brad Paisley will be touring across the United States with his 2015 Crushin' It World Tour through October.
