Brad Paisley to Host Comedy Festival in Nashville

The country superstar will show off his comedic skills with some of the best comedians around.

Brad Paisley is already known for his dry humor and the pranks he pulls on tour. He has refined his comedy chops over the past seven years as Carrie Underwood's co-host of the CMA Awards. His latest hosting job will put him against a stellar line-up of comedians at the 2nd Annual Wild West Comedy Festival in Nashville.

The weeklong festival commences on April 14 and will take place at different venues throughout Nashville. Paisley will host the show on April 16 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. He will introduce, and most likely joke around with, each of the comedians on the line-up, including Jon Reep, Greg Hahn, Theo Von, Sarah Tiana and Keith Alberstadt.

In addition to high-profile comedians like Kevin Hart, Lewis Black, and Joel McHale, the festival will offer several nights of special programs. Filmmaking brothers David and Jerry Zucker will host a screening of their iconic '80s comedy, Airplane!, followed by a Q&A session. Actor/director/comic book fanatic Kevin Smith and his longtime collaborator Jason Mewes will present their Jay & Silent Bob Get Old podcast.

Comedic actor Vince Vaughn founded Wild West Productions in 2005, which produces the festival, along with various films and television shows.

Tickets go on sale March 27th at the Wild West Comedy Festival website.
