Watch Brad Paisley's Moving Medley from Glen Campbell's Memorial Service

After Glen Campbell passed away last year, country stars and friends alike gathered for a private memorial at the Country Music Hall of Fame CMA Theatre in Nashville, Tenn., on August 24, 2017.

The service featured lots of personal tributes from artists who drew inspiration from the rhinestone cowboy himself -- one of which was Brad Paisley. In the video released by CareLiving.org, wife Kim Campbell's Alzheimer's blog, on the anniversary of Glen's death earlier this month, Paisley performs a medley of hits honoring the late singer.

In the video, host Jane Seymour discusses Campbell's influence on pop music, calling him the "Mount Rushmore act." Paisley goes on to say, "I always wanted to be Glen Campbell." He notes that his first performance at age 10 was of "Try a Little Kindness,"  adding some humor to the moment by saying that he learned "Glen's songs were different than a lot of country songs in the sense that they were 23 chords and the truth."

Paisley wields an acoustic guitar to play a medley which includes memorable Glen Campbell songs "Country Boy," "Southern Nights," "Rhinestone Cowboy" and "He Walks with Me (in the Garden)."

This is the only video released from the private service thus far, which also included performances by long-time songwriting colleague Jimmy Webb, Mike Love, Steve Wariner and more.

Glen Campbell died on Aug. 8, 2017, from complications with Alzheimer's disease, which he battled since 2011. The singer was open about his personal experience, allowing his and his family's struggle on his farewell tour to be documented through the film I'll Be Me.

Since his death, many artists have come forward with tributes. Little Big Town performed "Wichita Lineman" at the CMA Awards last November. Campbell is still remembered as an influential guitarist, songwriter and performer within the country music community.
