Boy Meets World star Will Friedle recently ended up in the hospital after he made a frightening discovery. The actor discovered he was urinating blood.

While at the hospital, he also experienced a surreal moment. He said a nurse greeted him with a sound familiar to Boy Meets World fans: the "Feeny Call." The actor described the visit on the October 8 episode of Pod Meets World, which he hosts with former castmates Danielle Fishel and Rider Strong.
"I woke up badly peeing blood," Friedle said. His wife, Susan Martens, could see something was wrong before he explained what had happened. "She looks at me, and she could tell, she's like, 'You had no color in your face,' I was like, 'Well, because I just peed it all away... I need to go to the hospital.'"
The actor ended up on a gurney in the hallway because the rooms were full at the hospital.

"For some reason on this day in that hospital, I was more famous than I've ever been in my life," he said. "I'm lying on the gurney in the hallway, because you know all the rooms are taken, it was a packed day. And I'm lying in the hallway there, and one of the nurses comes up to me and does the 'Feeny Call.'"
The Boy Meets World actor found the entire situation to be surreal.
"She goes, 'So you have a copay. It's not much because your insurance is going to pay most of it — blessed to have some good insurance — so here you go' ," he said. "'And oh, you want to put it on a credit card?' I'm like, 'Yeah, sure.' I reach over, and I hand her the credit card ... and then she looks at me [and] she goes, "'Feenay. Fee-hee-nay.' "
Still, it gave him something to laugh about.
"Just filled up a glass with blood, but thank you. It's very sweet that you're watching," he recalled saying. "They couldn't have been sweeter there."
Ultimately, it turned out that the actor was passing a kidney stone.
