Country Music is Well Represented at Bonnaroo 2018

The initial lineup for the 2018 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has just been released and some big country names are set to appear.

This year, Sturgill Simpson, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Sheryl Crow, Tyler Childers and Old Crow Medicine Show are set to take the stage. For the first time ever, the Grand Ole Opry will also be represented at the festival. However, exact details of their partnership or any additional artist performances have yet to be announced.

Bonnaroo will place on June 7-10 in Manchester, Tenn., about an hour and a half south of Nashville. Because of its close location to the Music City, the pop and rock oriented festival usually showcases some big names from the country realm as well. Last year, Cam, Luke Combs and Margo Price were among the country performers on their roster.

Bonnaroo 2018 takes place during the same weekend as CMA Fest 2018, giving a few hints as to who may be on both lineups. Brothers Osborne and Midland are a no-brainer for a double appearance, but it would be a big surprise if Simpson ends up being a wildcard on this year's CMA lineup.
