Falling overboard from a huge cruise ship is a terrifying fate to even think about. Sadly, that is apparently what befell Kimberly Burch, 56, the fiancee of rocker Taime Downe of the band Faster Pussycat on March 2. Per newyorkpost.com, she evidently fell from a balcony on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. Burch had reportedly been arguing with Downe, 60, according to the outlet via TMZ. Her body has not yet been found.

Efforts Described As 'Frantic' Were Made To Find Kimberly Burch And Help Her
It seems like no effort was spared to assist Burch after her fall overboard. Per TMZ, a video was obtained from a passenger that depicted small boats navigating around the enormous cruise ship to locate her. It is "unclear" if Burch accidentally tumbled off the ship or if she jumped on purpose. According to TMZ, family members say she is deceased. Conditions were scarily "pitch black" when she fell off the boat.
Resources were summoned to aid in the hunt for Burch. A Coast Guard helicopter was utilized, as was the Royal Bahamas Defense Force. Their efforts were halted when Burch could no be found.
Burch And Downe Were On An 80s-Themed Cruise
The cruise originated in Miami and was a 1980s throwback-type themed journey with Faster Pussycat along to entertain. The band first got together in 1985 in Los Angeles. The cruise ship was bound for the Bahamas. Faster Pussycat performed shortly before Burch went overboard.
Burch Shared a Selfie On Instagram On The Day She Fell Overboard
Per People, Burch's selfie was captioned, "We made it to @the80scruise." The snap shows her with Downe. That lighthearted moment was followed by tragedy. Burch's mom, Carnell Burch, shared with TMZ that Downe called her on March 3 to convey the news of Burch's awful fall from the ship. Carnell believes that her daughter would not have intentionally jumped. She mentioned that Burch was drinking, which she did not typically do.
According to People, "She adds Kimberly wasn't dealing with any depression or emotional issues, and was actually excited about the trip out of Miami."
